Fornalutx is traditionally characterized by agriculture and is known for the cultivation of olives and oranges. This has resulted in a unique cultural landscape with gardens, streams and the lush vegetation that characterizes the entire valley of Sóller. Fornalutx is a good 10-minute drive from Sóller and Port de Sóller. The capital Palma is around 45 minutes away by car.
