This tranquil village with barely more than 700 inhabitants is one of the most peculiar places on the island. Fornalutx is traditionally characterized by agriculture and is known for the cultivation of olives and oranges. This has resulted in a unique cultural landscape with gardens, streams and the lush vegetation that characterizes the entire valley of Sóller. Fornalutx is a good 10-minute drive from Sóller and Port de Sóller. The capital Palma is around 45 minutes away by car.
