Traditionally, Fornalutx is characterized by agriculture and is known for the cultivation of olives and oranges. This has created a unique cultural landscape, which includes gardens, torrents and lush vegetation that characterizes the entire valley of Sóller. Fornalutx is located a good 10 minutes by car from Sóller and Port de Sóller. The capital Palma is about 45 minutes away by car.
