A true oasis in the heart of Palma

Only a few months old, the Hotel Concepció by Nobis is a tucked-away oasis with terrace, outdoor pool and gardens between Palma’s old town and the Santa Catalina district. With the sea just a few metres away and the city’s landmarks even closer, such as Plaça d’Espanya and the Mercat de Santa Catalina and Mercat de l’Olivar market halls, visitors to the city have practically everything at their feet here. Originally built in 1576, this townhouse of historical value, a former soap factory, has been furnished with great attention to detail and modern design - cool but also cosy with beautiful colour combinations. The 31 guest rooms and suites, in-house restaurant, bar and lounge, and meeting and event spaces were designed by the award-winning Swedish firm Wingårdhs. A series of open-plan spaces where guests can move around and hang out as they please for dining, working or just meeting friends for a glass of wine. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly and competent team, which always tries to cater to all guests’ wishes.

Restaurant Xalest - also open for non-hotel guests

Chef Xema Álvarez draws inspiration for his dishes from local produce and offers contemporary cuisine at Xalest for lunch and dinner for hotel guests and visitors alike.

From tapas and pintxos to starters and main courses, all dishes are designed to be shared and enjoyed together, in keeping with Mallorcan food culture and also the Spanish way of dining. A relaxed informal atmosphere and contemporary ambience make the refined ground floor restaurant a welcoming, uncomplicated place to socialise over a good meal. With access from the hotel and its own entrance from the street, Xalest welcomes hotel guests as well as all other guests. Reservations are possible online!
