The harbour town of Puerto de Andratx attracts attention as the home of one of Mallorca’s most beautiful marinas. Yachts of all imaginable price categories and sizes drop anchor in this harbour area, often belonging to the property of well-known celebrities. Among these celebrities, Puerto de Andratx also enjoys great popularity. Numerous big names from politics, business and the media have settled in one of the local luxury villas and enjoy the modern ambience of the former fishing village. Today, this small town on Mallorca has developed into an exclusive tourist magnet offering a variety of nautical activities. There is great interest from local and out-of-town visitors when freshly caught fish is sold daily on the pier at the fishmongers’ market. The waterfront is lined with interesting shops and fine restaurants offering a wide range of culinary specialities and delighting visitors with stunning views of the Mediterranean. The two small sandy beaches located in Puerto de Andratx score points with their feel-good ambience. In addition, the fantastic beaches of Cala Fornells, San Telmo or Camp de Mar are only a few minutes’ drive away. The Golf de Andratx in Camp de Mar - one of the most beautiful golf courses on Mallorca - is only a stone’s throw away from Puerto de Andratx.
In Port Andratx, you are offered countless opportunities to spend your free time. The diving tours with local companies are particularly popular. Bond Safari, for example, offers a unique underwater experience: even if you don’t have a diving licence, here you have the opportunity to get to know a world that is otherwise closed to you - with diving equipment and a diving bell, you explore the crystal-clear water and the many different creatures that live in it. In addition to Bond Safari and El Bueco, there are other dive centres that give you an insight into the underwater world. Besides diving and among other sporting and non-sporting activities, Catamaran Charter Tours is synonymous with fun, freedom and relaxation on the water. The main attraction of Port Andratx is its wonderful location directly on the water and framed by the mountains all around. Many visitors to the port also appreciate the varied shopping opportunities. There are many things to do in the immediate vicinity, including visiting luxury retreats, the mountains and/or nature parks. However, most visitors to Port d’Andratx are more than happy to have a drink and watch the fishermen in the harbour. Not far away is the Dragonera Island Nature Reserve.
Port d’Andratx is set against a picturesque backdrop about 5 km from Andratx town. The harbour town of Port Andratx lies on a deep bay in the southwest of Mallorca. The sheltered harbour is popular with sailors and yacht owners and offers more than 450 berths. The hills around the village are partly wooded, but the building boom has of course left very clear traces on the slopes around Port Andratx. Despite the building boom, the village on the bay has managed to retain a bit of its original character. The harbour is considered the most beautiful marina on Mallorca. Here you can marvel at a number of motor yachts and sailing ships and if you are lucky, you may meet one or two celebrities. Palma and the airport can be reached in just under 30 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity, in Camp de Mar, is the popular golf club “Golf de Andratx” - one of the most challenging courses on the island.
