Llucmajor is located a little inland on the south coast and is the largest municipality on Mallorca in terms of area. It has a total of about 20,000 inhabitants. Due to the perfect motorway connection to Palma, Llucmajor has developed into a convenient and therefore popular place to live in recent years. Llucmajor is attractive to many permanent residents due to its favourable location and relatively low property prices. It is lively all year round.
