The historical & traditional town of Artá is situated in the middle of a wide valley at the foot of a small mountain in the northeast of Mallorca. Here the cultural heritage and traditions are consistently preserved. The parish church Transfiguracio del Senyor dominates the silhouette of Artás and the centre, which has for the most part been converted into a pedestrian zone and attracts crowds of residents and tourists every Tuesday when the popular market of Arta takes place. The protected historic town palace was designed by Antoni Gaudí in 1890. The palace with a living space of 936 m² houses an original hotel with 8 extravagant suites. All individually designed rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar and spacious bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub. 7 suites are equipped with a Jacuzzi.

Furthermore, there is a bar and a restaurant with two dining rooms as well as a romantic garden with pool area which invites you to linger and also offers the appropriate ambience for concerts and weddings. The property is quietly and idyllically situated on the outskirts of Artá, just a few metres from the College of Music and the Sanctuary of Santuari Sant Salvador. Other features include air conditioning throughout the palace, 2 fireplaces, marble and terracotta floors, wooden windows, restaurant kitchen, guest bathroom, two utility rooms and a roof terrace with panoramic views. The surroundings of Artá offer a varied landscape with numerous natural beaches. Nature lovers and hikers can enjoy the nearby Peninsula de Llevant nature reserve. There are also two marinas and four golf courses in the vicinity.

Description of the surroundings -

Artà is situated in the northeast of the island, a good part of the municipality is part of the natural park “Parque Natural de Llevant”. It belongs to the few municipalities of Mallorca that still have natural wide sandy beaches. About 7000 inhabitants live in the 140 km2 large municipality area. The landmark, the church of Sant Salvador with its thick walls, looks proudly down to the village and can be seen for miles around.
