This year’s rally – sponsored by the Swiss watch company Oris – every year attracts many international participants. It comprises a total of 14 sections that are closed off for the event. This year, the popular event will be held from 09th – 11th of march. Start and finish is as every year the famous luxury marina of Puerto Portals. The organization of Oris Classic Rally has just unveiled the road book of the XII edition of the rally, which will kick off in the exclusive Puerto Portals on 10 March and has two main categories, fundamental, speed test and Regularity test. The first is a race against time in which all participants will try to get the best time in each stage. The second is to maintain a certain speed in half each stage and for as long as possible. This classic car race, which has become a benchmark by which combines spectacular classic cars with the beauty and glamor of the island of Mallorca, is held from 09 to 11th March, and included the stretch-very fast and technical Sa Calobra – Coll de Sa Batalla in the second stage. The XII Oris Classic Rally runs through some of the most spectacular roads of the island of Majorca, which will be closed to host this exclusive event. It has 476 kilometers spread over 13 time trials to be held for three days. The race will begin with an exciting night stage where participants – coming from different countries – perform two special stages in total of 49.29 kilometers. The second stage, which consists of five sections, will be the most spectacular and expected by the pilots and the public, to be developed by Sa Calobra, where the curves and slopes take center stage. Finally, the third day the rally will pass through six unique sections that conclude with a test six timed kilometers which will run in the stretch Capdellá-Andratx.
